Guided Snowshoe Tours!

Snowshoe Guide : World Traveler, photographer, foodie, and guide, Pete Cozad  is a native of the Driftless area.  His affinity for the region’s dramatic landscape of of bluffs and river valleys run deep, and it shows through the joy he takes in sharing it with others.  From March through October, Cozad works as a trout guide on the area’s many coldwater streams.  When winter arrives, he leads snowshoeing adventures in the heart of the Driftless area. Cozad takes care to tailor each trip to individual skill level and physical ability.  With his intimate knowledge of the area’s natural resources and hidden gems, your day is sure to be memorable.

Bluedog Snowshoe rental :
½ day           $10.00
Full day        $18.00
Weekend     $25.00
  


The start and end times should be the warmest time of the day usually  9:30-2:00 pm. Tours last about 4 hours.  Hot Drinks will be served on the trail, tea, coffee, etc.
Prices: 125.00 for two people for 4 hours. 175.00 for three people, 4 hours. 225.00 for 4 people, 4 hrs. Tours are for anywhere from super beginner to well seasoned snowshoer.
If there is a group bigger than 4, we will have to have two snowshoeing guides. Trips will be booked on a credit card, holding that day for them, we will not charge them on the credit card, unless they want to pay with a credit card before/after the trip. They can pay any way they want. We will charge them before the trip starts when they come to the shop to check in.
48 hour cancel policy: if they don't cancel in that time frame, we will bill them half of the cost of trip(s).
Rentals:  If the customer likes the snowshoes they rented, they can take that rental fee and apply it to the purchase of new snowshoes THAT DAY!

This is Viroqua's best kept secret.  This cozy coffee corner inside Bluedog Cycles offers excellent customer service. Serves Locally Roasted Kickapoo Coffee and a variety of yummy baked goods all locally made. We are a full service Coffee Bar with Fresh Brewed Coffee, Espressos, Lattes, Cappucinos.  Whatever your coffee needs, we are the stop for you.
With Summertime around the corner we have Iced Coffee and Lattes. We also have Organic lemonade, Italian sodas, Italian Cream Sodas, and yummy Naked smoothies.

CAMP BLUEDOG...A Midwest Mountain Bike Experience!

The dates are set and we are getting the trails ready for the riding event of the summer!                 
That's right it's the 6th annual Camp Bluedog.  Located at Sugar Creek Bible Camp. Camp Bluedog is a weekend long Mountain Bike Camp designed to offer young people a positive and fun way to get involved in mountain biking.  The program is intended for kids 8-18, however, a select day camp is designed for 6-8 year olds.  This camp will offer riders a fun and educational mountain bike program, while rallying around the positive culture of trail riding and outdoor recreation.
In addition to mountain biking we have other activities, such as trail building, basic trail safety and awareness, swiming, canoeing, campfires and loads of summer camp fun.
We are staffed with certified staff with years of mountain bike experience and trail care knowledge.
Camp Bluedog is July 13 - 15, 2012 ($220.00) and Day Camp is Saturday July 14, 2012 ($110.00)
  Register by May 31, 2012 for early bird tuition break.

We have seem smiling faces on riders from young to old, from road to mountain, the commuter to the family rides.   Last week we kicked off the event season with the Viroqua Community Bike ride.  We had over 150 riders come and join in our fun. Many thanks to all our local sponsors that help make that event such a grand success. Now is the time to get ready and ride. We hope to see you soon!
