About Bluedog

Bluedog Cycles opened in October 2005, when Pete and Alycann Taylor returned to their roots of Wisconsin from the distant land of Idaho where they played in the four season wonderland for about eight years. The birth of their little girl Wilma Grace brought them back towards family. Four years later, and with the addition of Lucy Blue, Bluedog Cycles and the Taylors are thrilled to call Viroqua home.

Bluedog Cycles offers full sales and professional service for the family, mountain and road cyclist, snowshoer, and skier. We are also excited to teach maintenance classes and provide a public maintenance workshop for the community. BDC leads group road and mountain bike rides several days a week, year round. And finally, we are active in trail building and represent the community in the public land access issues that face us all.

Bluedog Cycles is committed to friendly professional service and sales for the entire community. With a knowledgeable staff, we will emphasize recreation, alternative transportation, education, trail advocacy, and a full appreciation of the surrounding geography.

This is a nifty little section of our web page where you can find some great deals on all kinds of new stuff and slightly used stuff that Pete brought in to product test, ride, or wear himself. Items that didn’t quite fit right, weren’t the right color, or maybe were simply mis-ordered. Rather than send these great products back to their respective companies, we slash the prices, a lot (sometimes more than 50%) and let our customers have at ‘em. These goods will change periodically, so check in often.
